Gooseneck ball for factory trailer prep package.

What ball do you all recommend?

My 6.7 has the factory prep package. Only one I found was Reese kit.

Pretty sure that's the only one that fits it. Reese makes the hitch for Ford.

I am looking at buying a new truck in the next year. Is the factory prep package a decent setup? I would either be buying one with the package or adding a B&W.

So it is built well enough that you trust putting that big a$$ trailer behind it? LOL

If it wasnt they couldn't put it in a truck.

I prefer the b&w over the stock hitch, for one you don't have the holes in the bed for the safety chain eyelets/ 5th wheel mounts and two the ball is storable unlike the factory one.

Very glad I went with the b&w instead of the ford Reese unit

As David mentioned, it's so much nicer just to flip the dang thing over and be done.

yeah i have the same thing, like stated the b&w is probably better but nothing wrong with the factory hitch. Ive towed heavy with it no problems. Just not as handy
