so I went ahead and installed my collant filter kit. I got it used from someone as it was included in a package deal I couldn't pass up(thanks to Agjake11 for finding it for me). Anyway, I'm not a fan of the big, industrial looking valves or the mount(I believe it's an older DieselSite setup), so I plan on changing the valves, the mount, and going to the blue heater hose but it should work for now. And I know, I know :nopics: Going to go snap a few now.

Like I said, it was a bundle deal that I couldn't pass up. SCT(unlocked), EGR delete, coolant filter kit, and a cat delete pipe for $500.

Anyway, here's a few pics.

Changed the coolant filter on my bro's Sinister kit today for the first time, 3 months and nearly 5k miles later. I was surprised to see the filter didn't look all that dirty at all! Just a little casting sand and other small things. Ford Gold coolant since the head studs were installed back around 110k at the dealership, 150k on it now.

Looks good, but i'm not sure that's a dieselsite kit cause i have one and mine didn't have those big valves. Mine have the nice stainless valves.

nope it's still the same as the one's they sell now i believe because the part numbers are the same and everything about the one on their site is the same as the one i have. Don't think they changed anything from the one i have.

Just going off what I was told. I plan on replacing it eventually anyway. Not loving the big industrial looking valves and all the hose clamps. Just doesn't really look "clean" to me. But like I said, was part of a package deal, so why not use it for now?

After the filters stop getting dirty you can just take it off. All the sand
has been removed.
