gryphon compatible with 6.0?

have a buddy that is willing to give me a gryphon for next to nothing, came off an 08 6.4, anyone know if this tuner would be compatible with my 6.0? this is the gryphon he is trying to get rid of http://www.gopowerhungry.com/_gryphon.shtml

yeah thats what i was thinking, but on the site it almost looks like its compatible with eachother but i dont want to risk anything, i just want to get rid of the stupid chip that came on the truck when i bought it

More than likely it is setup for specifically a 6.4... we recommend sct or h&s devices

SCT will be definitely be installed with some ID or gearhead tunes once i get a little more cashflow, but i figured with how cheap i can get this one, its better and safer on the engine than this stupid ass quadzilla chip lol

the grpyhon can be updated over fusion.. dont even have to send it in. PHP's custom tunes for the gryphon evolution are awesome tunes...

From what I was told the only ones that will not work are the evos for the 7.3. If they are newer for 6.0+ they can make it work. I have been off and on looking for a evo for the right price. I'd talk directly to groovy chick or bill. I'm not sure if they are on this site but they are on psn for sure. And they have responded promptly to pm I've sent them

Pretty sure that tuner is for a f150 5.4 gas unless i am seeing something incorrect. It is not a 6.4 diesel. I followed the link and it is to the gas gryphon. not sure if it matters or not

If you can upload a picture of the programmer, I'll be happy to to tell you whether it's compatible or not.
