I would just spend the money and get a good kit... Just my opinion though. My no limit ccv reroute kit is great just like everything else mike sells.

CCV vents are easy to DIY. Not as flashy as the pre-made kits, but functionally works fine. I made one myself

have you made one on a 6.7 ? not the same as a 7.3 , 6.0 , or 6.4 , or did you post in the wrong forum ?

They are quick and easy. If you want to just get the oil out of the intake and don't mind having the CCV "box" still in place, the CCV Adapter Coupling Kit for $49.00 is quick and easy. If you want to get the oil out of your intake AND remove the CCV "box", the complete CCV Kit for $199.00 will work well. Either way, your time is probably worth more than either of the kits.

Is there a reason beyond cosmetics to remove the "box"?

The option is completely up to the end user. Just keeps the oil vapor out of the intake and charge air piping. I don't think there is any reason to actually remove the box, unless you just want to for looks...........Both options exist.

Zane is right. This comes down to end user preference. We produce both kits to satisfy everyone's wants and needs. The complete kit only offers more room and looks better in my mind.

No more like the complete intake piping kit from Midwest and keep the ccv box as a separator rather than a full take off.
