H & S power numbers

in the high sulfur mode .. in the performance tune, what are you guys seeing for boost and what are people dynoing ? im only seeing 22-23 psi with dpf on .. im wondering how much is left once the dpf is gone ?

no DPF no EGR with SPE tune WOT 29-30 psi.. occasional 32-33 spike going through the gears. saw up to 36 when the vacuum pump for the wastegate was no bueno...twice.

H&S suggests setting defuel for dpf off at 38...I've never seen 38 even on SPE which seemed to have a lot higher PSI quicker. I think the highest I've seen is 34.

Yeah I have seen up to 34 on my boost. I am still running the 6.7.30 tuning don't want to update to the new one. Mine dynoed 517Hp.

I was making around 32ish set defuel at 28.... Now it set its own defuel at... 0 .... 0 psi ... farking turbos

so the turbo shat the bed ? i feel like anything over 30 ish and kicking its ass will be its demise in quick order, but some have had ok luck.

Turbos are definitely problematic. Have a close friend on his fifth stock turbo with 168,000 miles on the truck. Bone stock truck...

I think the spe setup is the ticket.

not to derail the thread but got a quick question for you rowdy.... what lift tire/wheel combo are you running? love the stance of your truck, looks just about perfect!

It's all good...Yes that was with the H&S tunes! My truck seems to love it. Had a 2012 King Ranch dyno after me with Spartan Warhammer and he couldn't break 476Hp with stock tires. He saw my truck and my buddies truck break 500Hp so he said his should to and made them make 2 extra pulls with his truck totaling 5 pulls were as we only got 3. My buddy is running H&S tunes also. Supposably the SPE Hot X tune makes more power and is faster but I haven't seen it yet.

4.5" Stage 4 Icon lift, 20x10 BMF Novakanes, 35-12.50/20 Toyo M/T's Think my next set of tires is gonna be the 35-13.50/20 Mickey Thompson ATZ's to try something different have had 4 sets of Toyo's on last 3 trucks.

thats the exact setup i had on my 6.4 i just sold. i really liked the toyos, but im most likely going atz as well, they do whine more so if you drive alot of highway they might bug you.
