Had a slight problem..

It broke when It shifted into OD. Scared the heck out of me.
I got a new shaft and a new converter and its running like a champ. Transmission was rebuilt 50,000 ago and a multi-disk torque converter added. Apparently it did not like life. Did not hurt the drum inside the trans as far as I could tell.

Ahh .. At least it was an easy transmission to pull. I did a lot of research when I was waiting on parts about transmission fluid. I ended up using John Deere low-viscosity hydraulic oil with a new filter. I must say, I noticed a difference in how the truck drives compared to the previous dex/merc . I'm pretty impressed. I work at John Deere so I got plenty of access to it. It's pretty expensive
