Not sure if this will help but i've had good success with the UVC/VC plugs by using a quality dielectric grease, try to use on all e-connections. Perhaps it was just luck but once I started to use that and it seemed a Stancor GP relay I have gone for a long time without having to mess with VC/UVC plugs.

I already use the dielectric grease. It was the UVCH's again. Turns out the diesel shop I got them from has 3 different suppliers of them so really no idea who they were made by. Started to read all the threads about OE versus aftermarket. Went with OE from Ford, dam that was expensive!!!! But did find 2 plugs already melted on the aftermarket set. Replaced with the new OE one's and all good to go. Been running great, so see what happens.

If you're in Canada, yes those and most Ford parts are over priced. If you live in the USA, doubling your cost and you'll be close to what we pay. I just bought a set of SD UVC harnesses and outside VC plugs to convert an OBS over (had VC gaskets already) and the service and pricing from Clay at RiffRaff is exceptional.
