Im having a problem with my 95 PSD, when I turn it off and try to restart about 10 min later it wont fire until it cools down. It also wont start in the morning unless I hold down the throttle till it fires. Any ideas? I think it might be the IPR NOT SURE.

I would try replacing the IPR O-rings (common problem for hot no-starts) and not too expensive (about $30):

IPR O-Ring Kit (for when IPR valve replacement is not required)
(Ford) F6TZ-9C977-AA
(International) 1825806C92

Cheers!

Hopefully just the IPR, but I had the same symptoms that ended up being injector o rings. When the oil is warm, the hpop wouldn't build enough icp to start the truck, but the thicker, cooler oil would.

I ordered the rebuild kit for the IPR so I hope that works. I really dont want to get in my injectors but if I do I do.

Injector o rings. Mine was bleeding off HP oil into the fuel rail. Pull and check the fuel filter. See if the fuel is discolored.

Sent from my x2 chillin in the middle of no where

Update on hard hot start. I had to replace the batteries last night and after I put them in it was still struggling to start. So I had the starter tested and it was bad too. So $350 in starter and batteries later my truck has NO MORE starting issue's cold or hot. Im still going to rebuild my IPR since I have the kit. Thank you for all the imput but it was the 25 degree weather that forced my fix.
