You would have to reflash the truck with as-built data. Anybody with an IDM and access to the as-built codes should be able to reflash it.
Only hiccup would be the mileage on the cluster. I don't think an IDS will let you change mileage

Isn't the mileage computer based? I know in international 4700s if you change the dash out it would show the same mileage as it did before

It's in the cluster on your truck and most pickups.
