I have a 30" double mounted on my welder thought it would be a good idea wrong. Give me needed light on the bed area to work at night. Ya it does that and blinds me and everyone else around lol.

Hahaha! Perfect! I've been having some people driving with high beams on lately and I figured it's a pretty good way to stop that!

Do double 8" or 12" on each side as """ back up lights """" lol. With a switch also For them azzholes. It will fix them. Trust me. That 30" blinded me I had to remove it in the dark and then rig it to finish working that night. Lol. Sucked.

Hahaha. I am just trying to figure out how to mount something high enough, I don't have or plan on putting a headache rack on or anything.

Mount it under rear glass that should do the trick
Just across the box?
I've thought about the flush mount but I am thinking higher would be nicer, I have one on the headache rack on the work truck and flashing that makes the high beams go off fast! but that looks good in the bumper!

I made my own brackets out of 3/16" x 2" x 2" and cut them 2" long aluminum angle then drilled straight down through the headache rack. I can get some closer pics of you want

That would be great if you had additional pics. I was thinking you might have just drilled the rack and mounted them with the standard mounts.

The standard mounts were too tall and put the bar down low and was in my line of sight when I looked in the rear view mirror, that's the main reason why I made my brackets.... When I looked in the rear view I didn't see the light bar at all... I'll grab some pics in an hour or 2 once I get back home.

I'm getting ready to flush mount a 20" sr bar into the cab of my obs that replaces the third brake light. I also have 2 6" bars in my back bumper and led cubes in the reverse lights of my tail lights.
