Well when i bought my mustang I parked the truck for 6 months it blew the srp1.1 back out. And Fuel lab pump just went out. i completely lost interest So basically im going to get a reliable hpop and dual SD pumps for reliablity purposes however i have a few questions.
1. did i mess my motor up from having it sit so long (rust in cylinders ETC)
2. what is the best way to start it since it hasnt been started.
3. motor oil is new should i drain it anyways.
4 . do i need to hand crank it first
thanks for all positive feedback

Ive known guys around here to go out and start a tractor parked in the fall the next spring and just jump it. Fire right up. If your concerned I'd probably change the oil and clean the Res depending on how you lost the Hpop. Put some good additive in the fuel. Roll the motor by hand a couple rotations. Charge the batts and let it rip.

Sent from my x2 chillin in the middle of no where

I'd make sure all the fluids were full an then start it, I'd give it a little warm up time though before jumping in an going anywhere though, but after 15min or so it should be good to go.

If it were me I'd check all the fluids and then let her rip.
Given the oil is fresh, condensation would be my only concern. Letting it idle for a while will take care of that.
