Well I'm trying to button up all the small issues with my truck before the snow blows in, but I have an issue with my hazard lights. I installed a new flasher relay and that didn't cure the problem, so I pulled it took it back and requested a new one. I got a new one and put that one in and still nothing. I will push the switch on top of the steering column and it clicks, but my flashers will flash for maybe half a second, and then the pause in between flashes in a good couple minutes. Normally this wouldn't be a problem for me, but being it's my farm truck I kinda need them for when I'm following equipment or pulling some crazy loads at low speeds which happens quite often. I think maybe the switch, but I don't want to just start throwing parts at it especially if I don't have to. Does anybody have any thoughts on what this could be?

First off you are aware that there are two flasher relays for the OBS trucks? The one that you can see easily is for the turn signals and the one for the flashers is on the back side of it.

:fustrate: Well I feel like a total :morons: Guess I know now. Well it'll probably be an easier fix than I thought. Would it be the same relay as the turn signals? Just kinda wondering cause I would pick one up on my way home.

Cool. I ended up picking one up, but haven't installed it. If it is anything like my old flasher relay it is probably original. Thanks guys for the info.
