Hey guys I am working on building a new motor for my current truck and was wondering about head gasket choices and which is best. I plan on studing the motor but not fire ringing it. I want to freshen up the motor so the heads will be coming off, so replacing the studs one at a time and using the stock gaskets is not an option. Just wonding what is the best out there, FelPro, Motorcraft, etc.? Thanks

That is what I was leaning torward but didn't know if there was anything better out there. I want to be some where in the 600-700HP when I am done and want something that is going to hold up.

The Cometic are top notch for sure.
And you sure pay for it at $250 a set or whatever they are.
I stick with the Felpro for $70 a set or so and with studs they hold fine.

If you are out for 80 psi or more there are better options.

Thanks. I am not looking to make 80+ PSI. I wish I had the money to do a full on build and make big power. I am looking to go through the current forged rod motor that I have, Put all new gaskets in it freshen it up in the bearing department if needed and stud the heads and the main caps. I will take your advice and just go with FelPro gaskets and a good set of studs. Thanks again for the help!
