I was thinking about doing a black one in my truck. Don't know what it would take tho.

Shouldn't take much, removing it and having it recovered. May take a couple of guys to support it, so not to bend the thing.

i thought the rear window was easier to remove to get it out. i thought that is what i remember seeing a few years ago when i was going to pull mine to redo it.

I think it would be easier to go out the back, measure the headliners widest spot then, The rear window diagnally if need be, and youll have your answer. The rear window sounds easiest so you dont have to go over the hood. That would be sort of awkward. The rear window is right into the bed and out.

I went out the door with the headliner in my 02. But all of the interior is out, so it wasn't bad.

I thought you meant to remove it, not take it out of the truck. Makes more sense.
