Can a heated steering wheel from the platnium be added to the Lariat ultimate package afterwards?

I guess this is a northern thing?

I had a BMW with a heated steering wheel! LOL

Where I live, I wanted a Air Conditioned steering wheel. Im looking at more time going "OOOHHH OUCCHHHH" when I touch the wheel than BRRRRRRRR!

Hey CATDiezel. You actually nailed that pretty good lol! When it gets hot here......I would honestly go with cooled wheel if it was out there. I can't deal with heat very well at work. I'm the kinda guy workin in shorts an a t-shirt in warm weather.... in the winter, since I've had an arm injury, doesn't take much for my fingers to go numb lol.....so heated/cooled wheel would be first on my list!! I tell ya, you sure can get spoiled with all these options!!!LOL

My gmc Denali has a heated steering wheel and it actually does feel kinda good when it's chilly outside. That's about the only thing I like about that truck though lol.

Yep! Hahaha that is happening!! Just untill I wire up a heat blanket on my steering wheel! Hahaha

I hate touching a cold steering wheel and it's cold as balls here!

Any cloth steering wheel cover will work for your needs. It warm up under your hand really fast if it is cold. Way faster than the regular wheel at that. My cheapo camp cover from Walmart does the trick nicely.

Wow, you are nuts, that makes me want to move back to Texas yesterday. Stay safe

given your situation have you used the one on the platinum? A 12 volt cover may be better because it covers the leather as another poster stated, and more importantly it may heat faster.

My Forman has a lariat with the heated steering wheel as an option, says by the time he gets in his truck in the morning after it's been indelibly for a little bit it's nice and toasty...

I'm going to assume that since it's an option it would be reasonably easy to do, I wish someone that knew something would pipe up! Haha

And I like the low profile wheel so having a bulky cover would be less desirable! That's for sure! Hahaha
