Hello from WEST AFRICA! 1st time Diesel Owner here...

Hello everyone. I just opened my account and this is my first post. I'm a US Army Soldier currently serving over in West Africa. I purchased a 2012 F250 from a guy online and it arrived to Louisiana (where I'm from) yesterday so it's officially mine now. I haven't laid eyes on or physically touched this truck...only seen pictures. She's a beauty for sure.....

This is my first diesel anything and my first truck larger than a half ton.......I think it's going to be a fun road to travel down and I believe I did it right. 1st Diesel is a Powerstroke 6.7L Turbo Diesel. Can't wait to feel the power....

I was working at the Sergeants Major Academy in El Paso, but went to DLI to learn French for this Assignment over here.

Well, it already has a lot done to it so I think I'm going to be pretty satisfied. I did order several little things for it already:

LED tail lights, Smoked side mirror lens, Chrome tailgate handle cover, Chrome window seal trim, chrome vent visors, chrome door handle covers (I will only put the actual door handle piece on but not the buckets), K&N Blackhawk induction intake, MBRP 5 to 8" chrome exhaust tip (it currently has a 7" MBRP tip), Bedrug Bedliner, and some new Anzo headlights that I'm having painted to match (will post pics when I get them any day now).

just a few little things....lol

Trust me....I think people are being very generous with the word "Paris" when referring to Africa. It's not all that here....that's for sure!

Thanks....I'm actually from Walker (bout 10 miles from BR).

I'm going to try the K&N (got too good of a deal to pass up). If I don't like it, I'll sell it and put it back to stock. I've had air intakes (of many brands) over the years and never really had noticeable anything from them.... Just trying it one more time....

I appreciate the info. I will check it out. I'll be stuck over here in Africa for at least a year (possibly 2) so I've already ordered and received (back home) the K&N. I'm going to try it, regardless, if it's no good for me then I will get rid of it and go for this one you're showing me...

I'm not sure if he was a member here....he DID mention to me that he had read a lot of forums......he's from Michigan. It's highly possible he was on here but I didn't ask him.

Don't tell me you saw photos of this truck after it flipped 4 times and was involved in a flood and now has a doctored title....lol.
