HELP!! transmission wont go forward, stranded

well, here i am with a brand new rebuild kit in my truck and I'm stuck along side of the road, the issue i was having was that if i put it in drive it wanted to start out in 3rd gear, but if i shifted manually it would go thru the gears, the Interceptor shows what gear it should be in while in drive but its only ever in 3rd under 45mph, also shows trans volts at 2.4 on cold start up, then rapidly decreases to below 1 volt and it drives sh!ttier by the second when it starts dropping, and there are no codes thrown, please help, i am in a pretty dangerous spot and its raining

my assumption is that he only looks at the transmission section. and he may not get on every day, but he was on the last couple of days.

I think you don't have power to the transmission. Your symptoms are those of a trans that is electrically disconnected.

i dont know what i did to piss off the transmission gods but they are out to get me here lately, but thanks tho, ill keep yall updated
