The truck is a 2008 Job 1 F550, Tuned and deleted. It has the Spartan 75Hp dpf off tune.

This is one of our companies fleet vehicles, and the driver was complaining that it started running terrible and it barely had enough power to get up to speed on the hwy.

I test drove it 2 days ago with my dashdaq hooked up, i instantly noticed the ECT was getting up to temp much faster than the EOT. I popped the hook and there was no coolant in the bottle and under the hood it smelled like coolant.

Got it back to the shop and put over 1.5 gallons of coolant in it. Let it sit overnight and it has no external leaks, it does not smoke white that i noticed, tailpipe does not smell like coolant and it is not puking.

There is no CEL, but it runs terrible. Feels like its missing badly and just sounds horrible.

Im thinking there is something up with the EGR system.Any ideas?

Thanks

Hopefully you have checked the oil and all that coolant is not in the oil. Arent some of these known for cavitation also?

I checked the oil and it looks good. I'll have to change it this week to get a better look. It must be slowly burning the coolant or leaking it.

The EGR cooler can leak slow enough to the point where you wont notice any white smoke in the exhaust even though thats where your coolant is ending up.

How much has it lost since you refilled it?
