High oil temp?

Just started using an Edge insight to watch ICP and to have a code reader. Last night on an hour ride at around 60 degrees outside, my oil temp stayed between 205-210. Are our oil coolers known for clogging or maybe a bad temp sensor? To my understanding 7.3's usually run on the cooler side, and on the trip back home it was around 48 degrees and the oil temp was about 200 the whole way

I'm not sure what t-stat it has. I didn't think the temp was terrible, but makes me wonder how high it's going to get in the summer when it's 90 degrees. Sucks these things don't read water temp from the factory

You have 7 gallons of coolant. Don't worry about overheating. I can hit the fan clutch lock at 223 degrees and the temp hits a wall.

I have a 192* T-stat and my oil temp cruising, unloaded is in the 205* area. My coolant gauge (Autometer Factory Match) stays a needle thickness below 200*, the probe is in the water neck. When I hook the GN (21k) up in 80* weather, I've seen the oil temp in the 225* area pulling hills. I've read about guys in the desert heat with oil temps in the 250* area.

Perfectly fine. I've seen oil temps close to 230* before when cruising at high speeds/high RPM's on the highway, with the A/C on, without any issues. Just how these engines are.

Oh and while I have your attention, I noticed the trans temp coming through the OBD reads almost 15 degrees cooler than what's on my Glowsh*t digital gauge. Do they read from different spots or do I have another typical GS gauge?

Thats actually opposite of what i've seen on my truck and read on-line. The OEM trans temp sensor is inside the trans so it see's more heat than an aftermarket sensor mounted on the case. My scangauge would show 5-15* warmer than my Autometer.
