On my '15 it's been hell just to clear 22x10.5's with 325/50/22's
I had to lift the front 2.5" and it only started out 1/2" lower than the back then
I had to pull back the fender liners, trim the bumper brackets as far as possible and finally today I punched out a 1/4" stainless steel spacer to push the front bumper out and it finally clears at full lock by about 1/4".
Maybe my idea of clearing and y'all's is different but even with everything I've done it wouldn't be close to clearing 12" wheels with the same offset.
What gives here? Are people just living with some contact or what?

I'm running same size tires as you with 22x12s and I had to space my bumper about 3/4 of an inch and go to 4.5 coils. Anything less than 4.5 and I was rubbing. And I did pull my fender liner back some as well.

Yeah I think you nailed it when you said a lot of people's idea of clearing is different then yours. I've got 8" lift to clear 14 wides with 37's and I trimmed the bumpers brackets pretty good, but i don't rub at all. I work on trucks all the time that can't turn in and out of driveways but they are like "but I have 22's with no problems" lol. I can't stand my tires to rub

I am running 20x10 35 12.50 20 with a icon 2.5 and I had to trim the inner fender on the passenger side and spaced out the front bumper. I am probably going to put a 1 inch spacer in the front for just for some space for clearance. But people told me I would clear 10 wides no problem then it rub on the front bumper it was annoying. But yes I don't know how some people can say they are clearing 10 wides at stock height.

I'm partial to this little tool. Makes clearing big tires and wide wheels a breeze. I'm a minority tho, it doesn't bother me to cut into a fender.

I know you won't feel the same.

4.5" lift
22x12s 325/50r22

rubbed a little still after trimmed liner and pulling it and removing outer bumper brackets
I was going to add a 1" spacer to lift it slightly higher.

Unbroken, my lift is for sale if you;d like to clear them better

I have a feeling that the 22x10.5 BMF's with 305/45 420's I just bought are not going to be happy on my 2wd...

I've got no issue clearing my 315/35/24's on either my '08 or '15. Both with the same drop kit. Front will rub at times but isn't a issue. Biggest thing is getting the proper offset wheel. You put 4wd wheels on a lowered truck and you won't have front fenders for long.

Pretty much living with some rub, I have a 2.5" kit on mine, 22x12's with the same size tire and it rubs still. Not a whole lot but I've trimmed as much as I'm willing to trim.

I'm running 22x12 with a 33x12.5 toyo. I had to put a 2.5 level kit on the 15 and trim just a little, nothing by the front bumper though.

Mount those and post a picture, I want to see how that looks on a 2WD.

I don't actually have the wheels and tires at the shop yet. I'm buying them from Mike and he says I have to wait until his new wheels show up or something like that.

Here's a picture of them on his truck. Hope you don't mind me sharing Mike.

No rush. I'm more interested to see how far they stick out. Picking wheels and tires for my 2WD has been a less than satisfying process...lots of nice stuff for the 4x4 crowd but us 2WD guys are the "red headed step children" apparently.

From the sound of it, I can order pretty much whatever I want in terms of size, offset, etc...through the likes of AF or SF...but I'm pretty sure my internal "that costs how much?!?!" gauge would wrap around and snap the needle off if I shopped for those.

To each their own but that's unacceptable in my world. I wouldn't sleep at night.

I ran 33x12.50 Toyo MT's on these wheels at first. Stock height and fender liners pulled back and zero rubbing anywhere.

35x13.50s on 20x12s on my 2008 with a 4.5 lift, just had to tie back the fender liners, no rubbing. But I do have an aftermarket bumper.
