The other day I was getting on a ferry with a 12' trailer in tow. The boarding guy looked at the ticket which said total length was 35', he didn't believe it was only 35' (we only guessed at it). The week before the ticket said 40' and he didn't question it. So if the truck is 22', trailer is 12' plus the hitch, it must be a bit over 35' I guess.

When I saw the title I couldn't wait to read the responses. So far my favorite goes to Jacob since I have had the same exact issue in the past.

Even with the "better" turning radius of the 05+ these things are just a beast to drive around in. I had a CCLB when I lived in the country and it was a pain. Now that I live in the city I couldn't even imagine having a CCLB. I get into enough binds as it is with a ECLB.

This is the first CCLB I have owned. I look at the benefits as two fold.
1. I can haul more stuff (very nice to haul 4'x8' sheet of plywood with the tailgate up)

2. I'm losing weight. Because I sure as hell am not parking anywhere close when I go into a store. You give up that pipe dream after about a week of owning it.
