How much boost can you run on stock gaskets and bolts before you need to invest in studs?

The only mods I have are....

H&S hot damn 300 tune
Afe stage II intake
5 inch dp back exhaust
Valair dual disc clutch

After installed intake today I test drove and at 65 in OD roll into trottle and it will spike above 40psi on factory gauge....

Hp is the better regulating factor.

500 would be "safe" anything over that is asking for problems

Thanks for the info..... I guess I better get some studs soon..... According to H&S I'm suppose to be in the 550-565 hp range....

I push 50+lbs quite often in my work truck. 150k miles with 50k of that tuned. Pukes a little bit on a hard pull. Just waiting for it to finally give up. LOL

And my roommate put down 580 hp on stock studs and it's still goin strong.

I have over 600 with factory studs and gaskets. I also see 52 PSI on a hard pull. So far I have not had a problem. It has been about 5k miles on it like this, but I know that my time is coming sooner or later.LOL

I'm still on stock bolts and gaskets, under WOT I have hit 60-65 psi with my S366 with no issues. I wouldn't recommend it but it can be done.

I would assume your backpressure is also lower than say stock chargers being pushed up there.

I ran Spartan's 310 for quite a while, at the end it would puke just feeling the keys in the ignition. HG's shot, heads cracked.
