Only go to the inertia DJ and make an uncorrected pull if you want to know if your truck can spin a DJ roller as hard or harder than Joe Blow's truck. Because the ONLY way you will post a higher uncorrected value, is if you put more power into that roller. There is no setting to be dicked with, and no way to make that line on the screen higher without pushing that roller harder. If your sh*t won't light off..... then you won't make full power, and guess what, it will drive just as doggy on the street... If you jump up on boost on the DJ, then you will jump up on boost on the street too. My truck has always been SOOOOOOO far away from the point of actually making ____ boost on the dyno, that I just can't comprehend how sh*tty trucks must drive that can't get on boost. I mean, I will usually hit REGULATED boost before the pull is halfway through. I can hit ANY boost number you want on a DJ. I wouldn't drive a truck on the street if it couldn't get on a charger any better than what you describe above. That's just a sorry ass excuse for a turbocharging system IMO. But, to the point..... the DJ is not up for debate. The value you produce is the amount of power you put into the roller. And it will be as accurate from one side of the globe to the other, on any one of the bazillion of them out there. If you want to make a comparative pull, just pick one of those bazillion Dynojets and see what you've got.
