No that is pretty much it. The hardest part is removing the turbo. I forgot about the egr cooler because I dont have one. No real tricks. Just make sure you torque everything down to spec because those bolts on the branch fitting can snap pretty easily if over torqued.

so only the 05 up have that stc fitting problem or does the 04.5 also? I guess i'm thinking I read the 04.5 have a different system.

Ordered a Dieselsite high output pump. Won't be here 'til mid to late February though.

No, he just has the high pressure oil SYSTEM for the '05-'07's: http://www.dieselsite.com/highpressureoildeliverysystem-20045-2007.aspx . My truck is an '04.5. An '05-'07 can still use that pump though. Just have to switch to some other things with it:

Note for 2005-2007: you can only use this if you retrofit all your rails and HPOP components out to the 2004 version

Only thing I do differently is remove the 8mm bolt holding the cooler to the intake, gives you a little more give on the cooler. And you don't HAVE TO remove the heat shield, its all about getting the right angle of the dangle when your pulling the cover off.
