Do you mean the ipr coil? If so, then you will not build pressure with it unplugged. If you mean the icp sensor, then the truck will run off of preset parameters stored in the pcm.

If you unplug the sensor, the computer essentially "guesses" the pressure, generally causing a rougher idle. You will get a CEL, but having the ICP unplugged should not stop the truck from running.

Ha found my problem........... the samped metal nut holding the IPR coil came off.
Nut and coil found in bottom of valley.
It's all good now.
