WELL. needless to say a few weeks ago my truck kicked the bucket. i was pissed. cylinder 4 contribution balance. and another pile full of codes. I'm not in a huge hurry as I'm just waiting till rykan and jansan get time to tear into it. gonna upgrade a few things and replace what's broken. What's already on it-ARPs, EGR Delete, wastegate, etc etc. no biggie.

What's ordered-IH Coated Pistons, new gaskets, Colt Cam, and the possibility of some new turblows sliding in the list. :D whenever we tear it down, I may be upgrading more depending on what's ruined.

Anyone want a Red 6.4? :D

You might as well throw some fuel into the equation.

From the sounds of it, you haven't torn it down yet, but do you have any idea on what went wrong?

Send it up to NY bud, I'll take good care of it :D

Hope its minimal and y'all can go ahead as planned and not spend more money to fix things and spend it on go fast goodies.

Keep us updated

I'm not gonna add nozzles. without dual fuelers. and funds don't allow.

we haven't started. rykan and Jansan are covered up. so it's there convenience to work on it.

Eric has a couple contribution codes and a glow plug open circuit code. Blew the glow plug harness out. Took the oil fill cap off and it has a crazy amount of blowby. Hopefully get a chance to tear into it around first of the year to see what exactly went wrong.

Hope you didn't score the cylinder. If so the ih pistons won't work. Crossing my fingers for ya.

Thats why I waited to order mine, Its gonna take .030 to clean mine up. Several of mine were .010 out at the top where the piston rocks with about 115k on the motor. Cylinder 2 where the rod bent and piston broke was .016 to big with the bore guage.
Hope your luck is better than mine!

Mileage doesn't dictate boring it. Scored walls from damage will, egg shaped cylinders, and a few other things will be the deciding factor. Hopefully you didn't jump the gun bro.
