Message: [QUOTE="n54power, post: 945765, member: 10678"] as straight forward and simple it is,this is just stupid. last year my sector shaft snapped,which is a pucker factor of about 12. well that wild ride along with loose suspension parts led to a cracked track bar drop bracket. so after a little research and opinions the icon unit seemed to be the best bet for my suspension goals. so simply bust out the 4' long snap on torque wrench and a few sockets. simple R&R right,,,,,wrong:fustrate: first hurdle-the icon unit is for 4" and 6" lifts. my bracket that came with the lift kit puts the bar hole smack inbetween the two on the icon. so I choose the lowest and move on. then comes the single bolt that attaches the bracket to the engine cross memember. well the 1/2" bolt used on the old bracket is about 1" to long AND to small. the icon seems to require a 9/16" bolt but ill have to drill out the cross memember hole. so,if anyone is running this bracket,please replie and let me know the route you took.
