I was wondering what numbers I should be seeing at idle at 1500 rpm

Inforget what the 'acceptable' range is something like 0.75v - 1.0v @ idle. Mine sits at
0.9v at Normal idle speed.

That all depends on load conditions, pump condition, eot, and many other things.

Cruising at 80 mph in my truck it varies between 1.4-2.2v (depending on incline, headwind, etc.). That is like 2200-2400 rpm.
