ID some modules

What is the pcm-like box under the front left fender? Also, what is the electronic module that is built into the interior fuse box. Both on the early 99 F350. Thank for the help

The thing under the Fender is the IDM. The thing on the fuse box is the GEM.

Stupidest place in the world to put electronics. A blowout will kill the IDM fuse. Blowout, plus no steering and no brakes when your motor dies. Lots of fun.

Man you guys are handy. One more for you, if you take out the dash you will see this one front and center on the floor by the firewall. I think's its an airbag module, but not 100%
