Took off quick today and noticed the was 1 nice thick black streak behind me. My truck had the rear axle replaced when I grenaded my last one. What's the best way to tell if it's limited slip or not?

if it laid a onsie, it's most likely an open diff.

best way is to pop the cover off.. if you see clutches, it's a limited slip

Put the trans in nuetral, block the front tires, jack up the rear end, spin the tires. If they spin the same direction, LSD, if they spin opposite direction their open. Could be limited slip but just worn out, thats how my truck is.

Didn't think about that, way easier than pulling the cover.
