This person lied about not receiving the chip listed in this ad and demanded a refund. I gave him a refund as soon as the Claim went through with UPS. He has lied to us and UPS. As you can see our chip is listed as part of the sale of his truck.

I know in real estate, you can put a lien against a home if you are a contractor that hasnt gotten paid, preventing sale of the house and ensuring you get your money before a new owner comes in and says "i didnt order that so i'm not paying". is there any way you can put a hold/lien on his truck? contact the bank if he has a loan and inquire possibly. iono if you even can... just hate to see you get bent over from a Dbag like that. good luck!

I know some places allow mechanics liens so is the cost of the chip any different then the cost of having the truck repaired, i.e. a waterpump or a radiator

It would be alot different if DP actually had the truck in their possesion but this transaction was done through the mail.

We've put a lien due to $500 for not making the final payment on a roof install. whether its $500 or $25,000 a contractor is due his money for work completed but not paid. but being this was a mail order... it might be hard now that I think about it.
