info needed on rear slider install

Anyone install or have knowledge of what is required to install a rear slider in our trucks,i've ordered one as my standard cab didn't come equipted plus i'm the diy type thx.

Cant find anything on this,seems when i figure it out the hard way i should do a write up on it for others as the info is no where to be found,go figure huh i mean in btw the yrs 08-15 you would think there would of been someone else doing this rear window removal slinder window install thing lol.

They are glued in and you mean powerslider or just manual slide?

Basic same urethane glue that they put windshields in with. If it's power, it's just cable on a track with a motor and switch.

Manual slider as its a standard cab,had heard someone say they bolted in&someone say they glued in,figured i would find out for sure when it got delivered but was trying to gather info ahead of time to be prepared&thx for the input.I think the f150s are bolt in&ours glue in just not for sure yet.

Well my slider arrived today&its a gluein,not one single bolt.I am pleased with the quality of it though&cant wait to have it installed tomorrow.

Where'd you get the manual slider glass

I had a manual slider installed for a customer in a 2011 a few years ago... They're definitely "glued" in with urethane. It took quite a bit of urethane to get a good seal, but it came out nice in the end.

Thx for the replies,i got the glass from a place called lillyglass out of california on ebay,its a genuine for slider&came with two tubes of glue too.$275 delivered
