Injector harness clips?

How do they unclip? I dont want to break any, and never seen a clip like it before.

I know it requires a special tool (OTC 310-157) can it be done without it though?? I have a truck that needs a #2 injector and I'm trying to get things figured out before I tear into it. Thanks in advance

Yep you can just use a flat blade screwdriver between the connector and harness, twist don't pry

Thank you much, anything else I need to be aware of when changing an injector?

Just be sure to get a new tube from the rail to the injector install the injector just finger tight snug the lines up and then tighten the hold down then finish tightening the lines

Basically the lines are a snug plus 30 degrees ,spec is like 10 inlbs plus 30 degrees.

Makes sure the oring is lubed and Make sure there is a new seal washer on the end of the injector
