For those who have tested icp with hard gauges or guys who have installed a icp gause where it pulls voltage at the sensor and not the ob2 port. What size injector do you have and what icp have you dropped too.

05 pump.
Casserly or elite 225's drops to 2800psi on several trucks I have tested
215 stix drop to 3200 psi
190 or 205(which are 190 with spill ports plugged) hold 4000 psi

Post your results.
Keep it clean. This is for guys to learn from

Thanks

Yes all tuners can pull fuel to maintain icp. But an all out innovative diesel tune that is made for maximum hp sure does pull every bit of fuel we have.

205cc with 100% nozzles on an 06 with the gauge piggy backed off the sensor was around 3800 with erics race file. 225s dropped to 2000psi. but i had big nozzles on them so i guess that one doesnt count

Ok, so how is it, that you both have '05 hpop's, but a set of 225's will drop to 2800, yet running 285cc with even bigger nozzles only drops 900psi??

I'm curious too, because I am switching from the '03 style pump to the newer style, and don't wanna have to worry about ICP pressures again....someone said the newer pumps were better....eh Shawn?:poke:

I too had simular results with 225/100's....but with an '03 style pump and '03 style rails, as well as '03 style pump with '05+ wavey rails...same results.
-Piggy backed from ICP sensor....

i believe the 285s are flow tested differently unless they are hybrids. there is no way these trucks will maintain a full 285cc conventional injector. i couldnt maintain a 285cc hybrid.

They 285s are flow bench tested. The oil side are cut to 215. This is where there is a major difference in the way injectors are sized

Yeah the 05 pumps don't fail like the 03 ones do
For daily driving they are better cause they flow mre oil at lower rpmso

I've been meaning to monitor icp with my 225s, I've got an Isspro hpop gauge but I don't know how to connect it to the back of the gauge, it piggy backs on the icp sensor. I guess I need to hook it up to get some data
