I have seen some strange things with my truck that just does not make sense.
Back ground on my turbos. I am running 2 T turbos in parallel. they are rated at 60psi and flow 800cfm of air and into a 4' down pipe and side pipe.
With that said here is the question.
injectors are 160cc and flow 15 LPM.
With these injectors and the turbos the truck ran great. real quick throttle response and could pag my 60psi gage with not problem. Well could not let things alone and with the quest for more power I upped the injectors.
New injectors are 230cc and flow 19 LPM
The smoke is up and the boost is down. Now I can only push 45 to 50 psi of boost.
I always though that with more fuel comes more boost. But I am not seeing that. Could more smoke = less boost.
I am still running the same tune with both injectors, do I need to re-tune and check it again. the bottom end (idle to 1500 rpms) is slower but the top end is stronger, but the boost is still only 45 to 50 psi.
Any in-site would help.
Thanks
Chris
