Inline superduty fuel pump

I was talking with a guy about my truck and I was saying I was going to upgrade my fuel system with the superduty pump and new filters ... He was saying he's going to just put one inline and leave the whole old system in .... Would that work well ?

Whats your goal with the truck?

Not at all. The fuel bowl Is not meant for that kind of pressure, not to mention all the hoses connecting the fuel bowl to the pump and hard fuel lines. It will be leak city in short time.

I've often wondered how a low pressure lift pump would work with a stock fuel system, but not a SD pump feeding a stock mech pump.

They are a 2stage fuel pump they were never designed for anything else If you need a fuel system that requires electric pumps then you need to spend the money on a efuel system
