I have had the sway bar installed for about a week now and I like it. I wish I had done it sooner. The truck handles much more predictably in corners. Since I don't off road in it much, and will be towing with it soon, this is a very good thing.

If you're on the fence, go ahead and install the front sway bar. Next is the PMF drop track bar bracket and drop pitman arm to eliminate the bump steer completely. The only issue might be clearance with the sway bar, but we will see.

Someone (DB?) posted using the rear sway bar links to replace the front ones when using a RSK as the original links may be too short.

I am not having any sway bar to track bar clearance now that I have the drop track bar with the u shaped attachment point set slightly to the rear.

I also like the sway bar in how it helps the handling.

Tom,

Is that set back a special order item?

Thanks.

Dave,

Thank you. I do have the rear sway bar links. Looking at the clearance that I have now with a stock track bar bracket, stock F350 pitman arm and an adjustable track bar, I am concerned about when I install the drop bracket and pitman arm. It looks like there might be interference. But TomS' reply gives me hope!

Thanks.

I originally had one modeled off the stock piece just dropped to match the RSK and Pitman arm. There was some contact between the corner of the track bar bracket and the sway bar if I took for instance a speed bump hard. Trevor and I did a little back and forth and he made up a slightly different track bar bracket with the most noticeable change being that U is moved to the rear slightly. It fixed my issue. I do not know if he made that a permanent change to his design plans or not. I would defiantly check into that if you are ordering one.

I use rear links extended slightly on the front of mine as well FYI.

I have a 3" drop track bar bracket from PMF and mine interferes with the sway bar unfortunately. I emailed Trevor about it this past week, but with no reply. I need to find some free time to talk over the phone.
But it looks like if my track bar mounting point on the bracket were moved rearward, there would be no interference. I feel like I have the same revision of track bar bracket that was causing Tom problems initially.
I purchased my drop bracket in July of this year. It rarely contacts, but it needs to get fixed. Its just been on the backburner since I've been so busy and since the truck sits a lot recently.

Agreed, when I installed my D60 (with your old stock track bar, Rusty ;)) I tried it without the sway bar and the difference was definitely noticeable.

Now, with my RSK, the sway bar helps even more. The only issue I've experienced with mine is it sometimes rubs on my BDS dual steering stabilizer mount that bolts to the bottom of the axle housing. Still trying to figure out how to fix this, I have a feeling they designed it without a sway bar there. It also is quite close to my adjustable track bar (also from Trevor), but doesn't seem to hit so far.

The last I saw him post he was talking about preparations for SEMA.

Tom, that's exactly what I've been thinking. I went and checked his Facebook page and he looks to be pretty busy with sema.
I've talked to Trevor before, he's a great guy and a good help. So no worries here.
