Anyone have a write up? Tech info? Or a video of what all is required to remove the intake manifold?

Thanks.

Thinking if doing egr delete, cac, and possibly a batmo while I have cab off. Depending on how the bank account is might do studs and gaskets and possibly some injectors while I'm in there. I looked on YouTube for some videos of cab removal, turbo removal and such but most are poor quality. Links to any info would be great. I have a few links saved on the computer for removal of certain items.

I would do a 71mm or 72mm low pressure instead of the batmo. If you pull the cab I would also do studs and gaskets. Maybe replace rocker arms if they are showing wear. I wouldn't do injector nozzles unless you plan on going with dual fuelers. Otherwise you would be limited to 15% nozzles and depending on how heathy your pump is you won't be able to maintain rail pressure. I would go with an RCD manifold or a diesel dr. manifold. Both are great and right about the same price.

Senior master tech on YouTube has a video of pulling a cab on a 6.4. There's also a sticky thread in the 6.4 tech section showing the service manual procedure. But even the manual shows things that aren't necessary to remove.

Anymore questions just ask

Pulling the turbos with the tool (ford/rotunda) makes it a breeze. Or make one like I did. After the turbos are out, it's like workin in a forty acre field.

Getting the turbos out usually isn't the hard part. It's getting the up pipe bolts out that are seized in to the high pressure turbo.

Sad thing is I went to an auction on a ford dealership a while back, loads of specialty tools for super duties for stupid cheap. iirc the table I look at had that tool on it.
