Sorry if this has been hashed and re-hashed...I did a search but nothing I found was specific enough.
Last weekend, wife and I went snowshoeing up in the hills. It was around -6° C all day. I had no problem starting the truck or running it all the way there (about 60 miles).
On the way home, we made a fuel and "pit" stop. When we took off from the station, I got a loud intake noise that stayed with us all the way home (another 40 miles). Everything looked normal under the hood...just a real growl from the intake at around 1200 - 1700 RPM. There was no noticeable power loss, mind you it was relatively flat all the way home, and I was unladen.
Is this normal, or should I be concerned?
I've read some suggestions about the EBPV...and have ordered the DiFuser module to plug into the cable.
