Well I don't know what happened just yet. I basically started it up and let it run a minute. Took oil fill cap and it literally launched out of My hand. Tossed up power balance and saw #2 was DEAD. I then started hearing a pop, put my hand on the upper intercooler boot and felt tapping, I knew it was getting ready to launch so I shut it down and popped the boot off... The compressor wheels are fine and #2 has 0 compression. 52k miles

Stock box truck. Quoting entire engine. Not worth digging into cause we all know how that goes

What would cause so much pressure that the oil cap would blow out of your hand?

I'm assuming the blow by from a piston issue with #2. I stuck my finger in the glow plug hole and cranked I over and got nothing. But I've never had a 6.4 that didn't have some sort of crankcase pressure

I shut down that cylinder for a few seconds and it did make quite the difference
