interior and runnibg board lights staying on

Like the title says, they are staying on all the time. The door ajar light is on also. Ive opened and shut the doors including the rear hatch many times to no avail. Im not sure where the sensors are that tell the computer the doors are shut are. Any help? Im leaving on a weekend atv/fishing trip tomorrow and want to get this solved before i leave.

Spray all the slides on the door liberally with WD40 or the like, and work them. The switch simply rides on that flat slide bar. It will work into the switches and likely clean them up. The switches are inside the door.

:whs: Common issue. Spray right into the latch mechanism with a good lubricant. Should do the trick.

Just don't do like my buddy did and spray the hinges lmao I told I'm how to fix it after doing mine and he called me and was like this **** ain't workin... I stopped by later that day and he had pretty much coated the whole side of the truck where the hinges are with pb blaster lol

what they all said. spray the hell outta them. hopefully you wont need a new switch they are a pita to change out
