interior lights

This is driving me crazy...maybe a ford tech here has seen this before.

My interior map lights will not work if you press them. Front and rear. BUT if you use the dash switch to turn on the courtesy lights they do work.
My visor lights and homelink also do not work at all.

Any ideas on what I should look into ? Is there some sort of control module that may have gone bad ?
I have checked the fuses and even tried different bulbs with no luck

I have the same issue in my 02 f150. I traced a constant wire and there was a break in it, could be the same or a fuse.

Stock or aftermarket bulbs Shone?

Reason I ask is the Recon bulbs in my Dodge did the same thing, but the Retro bulbs in my Ford turn on when pressed.
