So came to firestone to balance my 35s on XD 20x9" wheels on my 08 f350.

3 of the 4 balanced just fine. Didn't have issues just wanted do do my rotation and rebalance. Should it be that difficult or are 35s known for having balancing issues?

What tire brand, and pattern? There are some tires that people have had problems with, but not 35's in general no. Then again I have never had good luck with anything Firestone, tires or the store.

I don't know much about Firestone tires but typically mt tires are harder to balance then street. 35s shouldn't be that hard. If your set on that certain tire. I would recommend trying balancing bb. I have always had good luck with them. Using them right now with my 35s zero issues.

My SSM16's on my '12 were a bitch to balance after rotating the fronts to the back, due to a camber issue, I know the more aggressive the tread, the faster they'll get out of balance. Are you leveled, or lifted? I know if your caster is off, you can screw up an MT tire reeeeal quick. I'm talking 13oz of weight needed to properly balance them, which is impossible lol.

I'm not putting 13oz of weight on my wheels, when it was an obvious caster issue. Going over 5oz is an indicator something is wrong, especially when there was only 10k miles on the tires. Yes everything can be balanced but after a certain point it's just covering up a bigger issue.

Instead of saying "impossible" I should have said: Stupid.

caster doesnt effect tire wear, i think you mean camber...

but yes stupid would have been a better choice.
