Its designed that way unfortunately. I know thats a dumb damn design, but as a long as it doesnt make its way into the passenger compartment (headliner, leaking on your head, etc.), Ford wont do anything about it. They claim it is normal and operating as designed. Had the same thing happen on my 2016 F150 with the moonroof. But the channels always caught all the water and drained it fine. Never had an actual leak onto anything. Between the creaking moonroof noises and possible leaks down the road, I opted out of the moonroof all together in my 2017. They look nice, but once they get some miles on them they are a pain in the a**. If yours is leaking in the passenger compartment of the cab (outside of the drain channels), one of your drain hoses may be disconnected or plugged. Oh and great looking truck man! [/QUOTE]
