Ever since I got my truck the driver side heated seat doesn't work. When I hit the button the red indicator comes on and I hear the relay click, but it doesn't even get warm, where do I begin to test the element and if it is bad then how do I go about replacing it. Thanks

Chances are the bottom seat element is broke. Its tough to get at in these trucks but locate the clip that comes out of the bottom seat cushion. Unclip it and test for contiuity. I can bet it will be an open loop. I have the bottom element part # somewhere as mine was replaced last yr. ill look later for you

These seats have a small wire in the heat element that breaks.
This site www.theseatshop.com has a very good video on replacing the leather seat and cushion. It takes you through the entire steps of removing the lower seat which is what is needed when fixing the heat element.
Usually all you need to do is solder in a slightly larger wire in place of the one that breaks.
