Hey guys,

Got a too good to pass up deal on a set of King OEM shocks for my '13. My truck now has platinum 20s and stock tires. The plan has always been to do a Carli 2.5" level, so these were the "forever shocks" I was looking for, and they even came with extender brackets for when I do upgrade to the new coils. Although, I have a concern, and was hoping someone else has run these on stock wheels could chime in.

With the 275 stock tires, full turn looks like it could rub given the way the remote reservoir is attached to the shock, and it doesn't appear there will be much room with my planned 295/65 on stock wheels. Has anyone mounted the reservoir away from the shock body on these trucks?

Did you get the coilover conversion or the shocks with the reservoir attached to the body? From your post it sounds like the latter. If so you may have enough hose to use the Carli reservoir mount but I don't know if they require a certain backspacing to clear the reservoirs. I want to say they do but don't quote me on that.

I got the ones with the reservoir mounted to the body. Looks like I'll be calling Carli tomorrow about their mount. Thanks!

This may be obvious, but have you tried spinning the whole shock so the reservoir is closer to the spring?

I have not. FORD-DNA, do you have pics? I haven't installed them yet, I may just wait until I piece together the rest of my level kit.

Also, these are the remote resi models - looks to be about 4-5" of hose to work with.

Just rolled the piggyback in far enough so I don't get any rub at all...

If I nut up and install them myself, I may try this. Thanks, FORD-DNA!
