LED bulbs in stock cab light lenses

Anyone do this? Had a bad experience with Recon's going out or leaking so don't want to do those. Thinking of putting some LED bulbs from Retro in my cab lights and looking for some pics if someone has done it.

I have seen people buy the recon looking led bulbs in idk who they are made by but they look good.

My brother installed the Recon LED cab lights in his truck and they were rather objectionable. He always had a light or two out with that kit. I was thinking of doing the same but after his experience, I am just sticking to stock bulbs with smoked lenses.

I have regular bulbs in my cab lights BUT i put LED bulbs from retro in my dually fender lights because the recon ones stopped working after 6 months. They are pretty bright and look sharp at night I think. I'll snag a pic when it gets dark out.

Only way to install cab lights IMO. Factory bases with whatever lens you like, and LED bulbs. To many leaks and other issues from the aftermarket ones.

Yep thats why I won't go back to Recon cab lights. I faintly remember my Recon LED tail lights also not fitting properly..anyone have issues with those?

Well mine didn't come with cab lights. So I added OEM cab lights with recon smoked lenses.
I forgot to take a picture of my friends truck yesterday that has those bulbs.

i have these bulbs in my stock cab lights and corner markers..

they are better then stock but i think they would be even better with a clear lens.. i have the 15 LED in my turn/parking lights.. do the bulbs posted above glow front and back or just out the front???

My truck didn't come with cab light from the factory.... IDK why anyone would want to do that. But when I bought the truck, I made the Ford dealer install OEM cab lights & then I installed Recon LED bulbs in them last Christmas. Only issue I have had with them.....knock on wood.... is that when I installed them one of them didn't light up. I wiggeled it and haven't had a single issue since. Looks killer too.
