I am looking at getting a aftermarket rear bumper on my 16 F250 I have had ranch hand style in the past but want a more modular design like a fusion or boondocks bumpers there's just so many now I don't know what to pick.

Pictures and info would be appreciated

I've been researching those lately with the intent of buying something this spring (for an 08). Here is what I've found.

Hammerhead Armor
http://qsftm.zhlsq.servertrust.com/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=F250-99_XX-RPS
This is what I'll probably get. It is the only one that I've found that is fully made of 1/4" plate, most others are 3/16". I'll probably cut their logo out of the rear light openings (or they can do it at the factory for $100).

Trail Ready

I like the aesthetics and functionality of these. 3/16" construction.

Fab Fours
http://fabfours.com/product/premium-rear-bumper-3/
I like the aesthetics on these but they don't have light openings which is a no go for me. They have another style of rear bumper but I'm not a fan.

Buckstop
http://www.buckstop.biz/rear.html
These are tough bumpers but too utilitarian for me. I do plan to get their Outback model for a front bumper, though.

TDK
http://www.throttledownkustoms.com/bumpers/ford
Made here in Montana a few hours from me. Seem to be good bumpers and I see a lot of people here with them. Not enough room to stand on the rear (with the sloped facets) for me.

Road Armor
http://www.roadarmor.com/products/Bumpers/2008-2010/Ford/Superduty/part-number-61800B
Same problem as the TDK, the sloped0 facets don't leave much room to stand on the bumper.

Others that I haven't researched: fusion, boondocks, iron bull. Hope this helps. Let us know what you go with and how you like it.

I just heard about the hammerhead this last week and I've been looking casually for years. They've been making bumpers for several years but aren't a very big outfit. I can't find hardly info on them.

But I like the look, like the strength, and like the features like the steps, rear lights and shackle attachments. Price seems good too for what you get and compared to other bumpers.

I'm pretty sure I'm going to get cransford bumpers.
He offers a package deal for about $1500 and has got really good reviews.
Not sure if he's got a website but I found him on Facebook.
