I am guessing you have a 97?

We have done quite a few combos like that with both H2E's and D66's. The D66 will out flow the standard H2 by a good bit. We have plenty of people making over 500hp with Stage 3's and a D66. You will also need to look at a fuel system, head studs and valve springs. We can get you a hook up on all of it as a package if you would like.

I dont know what your goals are or what you do with the truck so hard for me to tell you what you should get.

Not sure what you are asking on the hpop, an hpop that doesnt require you to take out the stock pump? SRP1 will do that as well as a 17 deg reman.

Can you mention what your goals are for the truck?? That will make it easier for people to help you.

238/100 and a D66 is a happy combo, ridden in a truck with it.
238/100 and a modded H2e is an even better combo, but much more expensive

You also really need to do a e-fuel system on it. If I was doing your buil on time. I would do gauges first, exhaust and intake second. Swap those around as you see fit. Then I would go with tuning. Then I would do electric fuel, with a regulated return. Then upgrade the HPOP, lots of good ones out there. Then something with the tranny, if it already has not said bye, bye yet. Then do injectors, studs, springs and turbo in one shot. You will need to get tunes reburned for the new injectors and turbo combo. Get your supporting mods out of the way first, before you do your big power adders. Each of these jobs when taken seperately can be done on a Saturday. With the exception of turbo, injectors, studs and springs.

And each one will give you a permagrin for a while. Doing them all at once, you only get one perma grin. Granted, it will be a big one, but it is still just one.

Well then right now sounds like you should look into some tuning. I had a 6 position with tonys tunes and liked it on my 7.3. Then start saving up for fuel and oil then the big step do all at once with turbo injectors push rods springs and head studs. Iv also see a couple guys throwing there big injectors in and detuning them.

how hard is it to detune the injectors cuz ive heard to go with 160/100s to start out with and turbo and tuner, thinking like the dp 8 pos. with stock high idle 60 tow 80 100 120 140 and lope. feedback on those tunes and what everybody else likes would really help.

Get a Ts 6 position chip, go with the DP tuner and your limited on who can tune your truck. there are about 8 or so guys tuning the TS chip though, and youll only use 2 tunes anyway (extreme and tow).

Just my opinion

As stated a 6 position chip is gonna prolly be the best way to go... I use around 3 tunes daily driver tune high idle and my extreme tune... You need to set a goal for what you want I wanted 400hp that's why I went with stage 2 injectors... As for turbo you can a stocker and be okay.... But the d66 would be a nice upgrade on a budget

If your tuner knows what they are doing they will have no issues de tuning a larger injector. I run 275/200s and MattR made them run super clean so I can daily drive it till I get the rest of the truck setup. Truck pulls hard but runs clean and cool.

Bringing this back up to the top, going to be a long post so get ready LOL

As I'm starting to make a better plan for the new truck, I've been trying to decide on injectors and such. Goal is to have 400-425hp, not looking to do all this in a month but more like a long term goal as funds allow so. The truck wont see the strip or do sled pulling, maybe some dyno time just make sure the setup is where it should be. truck will be used for dd and towing skid steers, mini ex, tractors, firewood nothing too heavy.

The stock 15* pump will stay till it fails, srp1 will more then likely go in its place. I do plan on also doing an intercooler and e-fuel.

What injector and turbo combo will work best? Been thinking hybrids like a set of 238/80s or maybe even a set of stage 2 160/80s. I'm not against going with a turbo like a d66 or even a t4 mount based one.

What would need to be done to the trans? Will just a tripple disk TC and modded valve body work or will it need to be a fully built trans?

If 400-425 is your goal, you really don't need hybrids. Sure if you want more later, but they'd be overkill for what you're after.
I have Stage 2's, modded H2E and all other supporting mods and did 460hp.

My plan is eventually for some 80% nozzles on the ACs, the D66 and some sort of efuel. Did 335 on the sig stuff with the old evo a few years ago.

I would strongely consider a 238/100, mostly because the tuning available for them is damn near perfect right now. A d66 is probably the most simple of options and will keep costs down, that turbo is a proven 450hp turbo right now. Otherwise for a low 400hp truck the S366 might be a great option from Irate, but your getting more expensive now.

The biggest tihng id suggest is ditching the 15*. A bigger pump will go an extremely long way to achieving what you said you want to do. Towing and daily driving become so so much smoother and easier when youve got more oil. unless you do all your driving at 3000rpm the stock pump just doesnt do enough in my opinion to be a tow truck/DD

Only reason I'm leaning towards hybrids is because I'd rather have more then not enough.

I'm still wondering about the trans

We just finished up a build on a '97 crew..Full Force 250/100's, our modded H2e kit, Custom 45 gal tank and fuel system...etc...new BTS, runs like a raped ape....but IMO..unless you have to have more than 450HP stick to stage 2's..
