How many miles did you guys get out of your stock tires? I know Michelin tires are pretty good but I've got 22K on mine and they just seem to look a little low on tread for the miles. Yes I admit to a few burnouts but just curious. That being said what tire would you recommend for an upgrade? I plan on going to a 35'' tire and would like some off road capabilities to not let me down. One suggestion was the SS M16s.

So if I upgrade to the 35'' tire no lift would it be necessary to add a dual stabilizer setup or not needed till a lift is installed?

I have right under 30k and my rears are pretty low. Thinking of going with a 35" as well and really like the look of the toyo open country a/t2

Don't do the M16's, you'll regret it, my recommendations for an M/T would be either Toyo M/T or Nitto Trail Grapplers, if you want something a little less aggressive the Toyo R/T or Toyo A/T 2 Extremes. I had the 35x12.50r20 Toyo A/T on my truck before I lifted it and at 23,000 miles they still had over half the tread left.

Stay away from M16s. Worst tire I've ever owned. Loud, and wear horribly uneven.

The noise doesn't bother me really but thanks for the heads up! I'll check out those tires Cuzican! Thanks guys!

I got 32k out of the stock Michelins and they were shot. Put 35x12.50 Toyo A/T 2's on and they are wearing great. Have almost 10k on them so far. They are a little noisy but I'm used to it.

i would just upgrade to dual stabs regardless if you think you need it or not. very good input feel and negates pretty much all road "noise".

The stock michelins suck. I have some that barely saw 35k. I have a friend that has the Toyo at and they have 40k on them and look nice and thick. That's what I would stick on there

I guess I am lucky, I have 65K miles on my stock tires. The rear ones are about ready to be replaced. The fronts have a lot of tread left on them.
